Texas Instruments TPS62903 is an easy -to -use, small, and flexible synchronous anti -voltage -type DC/DC converter. The optional switching frequency of 2.5 MHz or 1.0 MHz allows the use of small inductors and provides a fast transient response. This device supports DCS Control ™ topology accuracy of up to ± 1% VOT. The wide input voltage range of 3 V to 17 V supports various nominal inputs, such as 12 V power rails, single or multiple lithium ion batteries, and 5 V or 3.3 V power rails.

TPS62903 can automatically enter the power -saving mode (when selecting automatic PFM/PWM) during light load to maintain high efficiency. In order to provide high efficiency under a small load, the typical static current of the device is as low as 4 µA. Automatic efficiency enhancement (AEE) (if enabled) can provide high efficiency throughout VIN, VOUT, and load current range. This device includes a Mode/Smart-conf for internal/external frequency, switching frequency, output voltage discharge, automatic power saving mode or forced PWM operation. The device is encapsulated with a 9 -pin small VQFN with a size of 1.50 mm x 2.00 mm and a spacing of 0.5 mm.
