Post Date: 2018-12-18
Texas Instruments OPA859 wideband low noise operational amplifier with CMOS input is suitable for wideband transimpedance and voltage amplifier applications. When the device is configured as a TIA, the 0.9GHz GBWP allows high closed-loop bandwidth in low-capacitance photodiode applications. The device is optimized to operate in an optical ToF system, which is used with a time-to-digital converter such as the TDC7201. This device can be used to drive a high-speed ADC in a high-resolution LIDAR system with a differential output amplifier such as the THS4541 or LMH5401. Typical applications include high-speed transimpedance amplifiers, laser ranging, CCD output buffers, high-speed buffers, optical time-domain reflectometers, high-speed active filters, 3D scanners, silicon photomultiplier tube buffer amplifiers, and photomultiplier post amplifiers .
