Microchip's MIC2132 and MIC2133 are advanced constant-on-time, bi-phase synchronous buck controllers with a unique adaptive on-time control architecture. They operate from input supplies ranging from 4.5 V to 75 V and can be used to deliver up to 50 A of output current. The output voltage is adjustable to 0.6 V, with guaranteed ±1% accuracy over the full operating range or ±0.5% over the -40°C to +105°C temperature range. The device has programmable switching frequency from 100khz to 1mhz per phase. Hyper Speed Control architecture supports ultra-fast transient response under moderate to high load conditions. Soft-start is also programmable externally with capacitors, allowing safe start-up into heavy loads.

The MIC2132 and MIC2133 have a telemetry amplifier for precise output voltage control. These devices provide a complete set of features to ensure protection of the IC under various fault conditions. These include undervoltage lockout to ensure proper operation during power drop conditions, programmable soft-start to reduce inrush current, overvoltage discharge, blocking mode short circuit protection, and thermal shutdown. The MIC2132 and MIC2133 are available in a 32-pin 5mm x 5mm VQFN package with a connection operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C
